Uterine Fibroid Embolization

I bleeding more than 3 weeks, my uterus is large and I have fibroids. My OBGY do me a hysterectomy, I am getting Provera 10mg since last Sunday, got the nod increased to 20 mg.
I'm afraid of surgery, I have heard of uterine fibroid embolization, a nonsurgical treatment.

My OBGY does not believe in it and refused to help me. I went to my primary care and refer to see another OBGY for a second opinion.

Ladies please tell me about your own experience what procedure did you.
What are the side effects of hysterectomy, the mood swing take the extra weight? How long it takes to heal and time off work? Thank you,

A complete hyst, he would have more side effects than the UFE due to the fact that if they take the ovaries, you will need to be on hormone replacement therapy. The mood swings, hot flashes, etc. are terrible from what I said.
