If someone is diagnoised with adenocarcinoma and small cell undifferentiated carcinoma, what are the dangers? It is a pathology report from a friend in another
Small cell lung cancer is usually caused by smoking. Undifferentiated refers to the appearance of the cell different from normal cells of the lung tissue and indicates an aggressive tumor. I do not know what you mean by "hazards", and I do not want to sound negative, but the survival statistics for lung cancer are not encouraging. Approximately the same number of new diagnoses of lung cancer and lung cancer occur each year. I wish you the best of luck friend.
Carcinomo (not sure of the spelling), is a cancer that is contained in a cell, and once removed does not return normally. I had one removed from the eye, and once removed no further treatment is necessary. It should be fine.
You do not say what part of the body of the tumor, but adenocarcinoma in general are bad, bad, bad.
