Question about herpes and get tested for genital warts? Tomorrow I have an appt with my doctor. I've been to two other doctors who gave me a visual diagnosis say that I bump ingrown hairs. The department of health that I've been told they do visual testings for herpes and genital warts. My question is what do I tell my doctor to test me for what is necessary for both sexually transmitted diseases, I want to know with certainty? What test can I ask? Thank you
The test for HPV is not a blood test. This is a test done just as or with your Pap test .... he scrapes cells from the uterus and is expelled with your PAP test specifically for HPV. If it is positive, then you get treated. No testing or treatment is painful. If you are outside of your genitals and 2 doctors have told you the same diagnosis, why is it that you do not believe it?
Tell him you want to be tested for HPV and herpes. HPV is a wart you are talking about. It is a blood test at a time when I had done. I would tell him that you have had unprotected sex and you are very concerned that you can have that. you need reassurance that you do not. Doctors are supposed to test people who ask to be tested. I give you much credit for wanting to know and not only pushed him under a rug. If you have had and did not know, then you spread it to others. If you do not, you can guard against epidemics, etc. and you will protect a person you can be in the future.
U Gotta him as U think u have herpes and genital warts ... so u just make a "STD" tests.
U gotta accurate!
Good luck my dear
Just go to your gynecologist. They have heard everything. Say you want to test for anyone.
