Menopause is that every woman should know Its coming ..... if you like it or not, if you are a woman you mid-forties or fifties. You can start noticing that your body changes, and do not know why. It may be that your periods are not the same, or if you are not sleeping as well as you used to. Changes may be subtle and you're probably not paying much attention to them until one day, if you're like many women, it happens-a hot flash! Stages of menopause.
1. Premenopausal premenopause or menopause usually occurs before the age of 40 years. Signs of Pre-menopause are similar to menopause. 2. Perimenopause - means "around menopause" and marks the interval in which your body begins its transition to menopause. It includes the years before menopause - two to eight years - and the first year after your last period. Perimenopause is often experienced by women of 35-50 years of age. During this stage of your estrogen level rises and falls unevenly. Your menstrual cycles may lengthen or shorten, and you start having menstrual cycles in which you are not ovulating. It was only during cycles when you're not ovulating you can get pregnant. When perimenopause starts and how long it lasts varies. It is a natural part of aging that signals the end of your reproductive years.
3.Menopause - Menopause, or the permanent cessation of menstruation and fertility, is a natural biological process, not a medical illness or disease. Menopause occurs when your body decreases permanently or low levels of production of estrogen and progesterone. Your ovaries stop producing eggs and you will not be able to get pregnant naturally at least. As your body goes through "the change" which can cause symptoms of menopause. 4. Post-menopause is the stage after menopause has occurred. It is generally accepted that post-menopausal phase begins when 12 full months have passed since your last menstrual period. You may notice your hot flashes are mild or non-existent today and the energy levels are back to normal. It is important to continue to lead a healthy life during menopause and there is no reason to stop after. For many women after menopause is a second stage of life, enjoy!
