What brand of contacts are best for children? My child is comfortable with the contacts that we will order a big bag of contacts and she is 12 years. We do not want to order online and we live near a Costco if we intend to go. We already have the requirements, but Costco has these brands:
Acuvue 2
Oasys
Acuvue Advance
1-Day Acuvue Moist
Soflens 38
Purevision
Ultraflex II
Focus DAILIES
Air Optix Aqua
Do you recommend one of them for my daughter?
I'm sixteen and I tried different types of about a year now. Different brands and monthly and daily. I tried Air Optix Aqua (I hated). Now I use Johnson & Johnson Acuvue daily TruEye and certainly more comfortable for me and Im happy with it. I would choose something from Johnson & Johnson Acuvue Advance or Acuvue then 1-Day Moist.
I really recommend TruEye if you can get your hands on it. Good luck whatever you decide.
Thank you it really helped! Flag
ACUVUE sudggest id 2 .. thats what I had, I think when I was 13 nd now because I like his brand freshlook color best contact .. and atleast for me lol! ... and anyway I hope she likes her conttacts. I also think that the contact marks would work they are all the same thing hehe yes anyway so just make sure they Arnt contacrts hard .. make sure they are soft lens
you'll see the eye doctor it's not just choosing a brand of the doc should find presciptune thickness and commands, you just need a contact assembly after she asked, you must go see the doc after the rites of the presription.
Coctco should not sell you contacts (violation of federal law), unless you have a prescription for contact lenses your eye doctor, including prescription, BRAND, base curve and diameter. I express my contact lenses and most types of lenses up there, could be ideal for a young 12 years. I have no idea what would be the best choice for your twelve years.
Acuvue I find most comfortable for me.
But there is more then just contact witch is the "best"
you should consider getting his daily since its easier and no solution for cleaning and disinfection is necessary because we simply replace the lenses every day with a new pair.
If I were you I would go with 1 Day Acuvue Moist
but if you really have a prescription for your daughter
you should probably go with the brand of your doctor gave you.
I'm 13 and I use Acuvue Advance for astigmatism.
