Can fibroids stop your menstrual cycle? My period is very late and I'm not pregnant. The doctor says I have signs of fibroids: back pain, pelvic pain, fatigue, etc. Can fibroids stop a menstrual cycle?
Fibroids can affect your menstrual cycle as can be any tumor. I know that is the word tumor is scary, but not uterine fibroids are cancerous.
If your concern is to have a child, I looked at the options as soon as possible to get one, would like histerectomy probably the most appropriate option.
This may not be what you want to hear, but unfortunately it is for the better. Rather, take your ability to have children your life.
However, do not take this as a final comment he obviously differs from person to person how fibroids affect them.
