What are the signs and symptoms of ovarian cysts? Trying to understand something.
We can not rely on symptoms to tell you if you have an ovarian cyst. In fact, you'll probably have no symptoms. Or if you do, the symptoms may be similar to those of other conditions such as endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy or ovarian cancer. Even appendicitis and diverticulitis can produce signs and symptoms that mimic a ruptured ovarian cyst.
However, it is important to be vigilant all the symptoms or changes in your body and know what symptoms are severe. If you have an ovarian cyst, you may experience one or more of the signs and symptoms:
Menstrual irregularities
Pelvic pain - constant pain or intermittent dull pain may radiate into the lower back and thighs
Pelvic pain shortly before your period begins or just before the end of
Pelvic pain during intercourse (dyspareunia)
Pain during bowel movements or pressure on your bowels
Nausea, vomiting or breast tenderness similar to that experienced during pregnancy
Fullness or heaviness in the abdomen
The pressure on the rectum or bladder - difficulty emptying your bladder completely
The symptoms of ovarian cysts;
- Pain in the pelvic region
- Pain is a symptom of sudden rupture of ovarian cysts
- A sensation of pressure or fullness in the abdomen or pelvis
- Irregular or absent menstruation
- Pelvic pain during menstrual periods
- Pain in the pelvic region after exercise
- Pelvic Pain after sex
- Vaginal staining or pain
- Pressure or pain when urinating or having a bowel
- Nausea and vomiting
- Breast tenderness
- Weight gain
- Pain in the thighs and lower back
- Infertility
Very bad cramps
Pain near your kidneys
extreme pain all the time
The pain worsens when you have your period
These are just the basics. If you are really interested go to the doctor. Because if it is a cyst, when it burst the pain will increase 100X. Do not joke.
