What are the symptoms of a ruptured ovarian cyst? Someone knows?
Severe abdominal pain, pain in lower back, nausea, vomiting and fever are the most common symptoms. When a cyst ruptures it causes a serious infection and can sometimes lead you to a state of septic shock. The goal is to seek immediate help if you have these symptoms. A rupture of the cyst can be treated with antiobiotics that kill bacteria and your body back to normal.
If your symptoms are and you know you have a cyst, then chances are likely to be. Regardless of the cyst, when I go to the emergency room, they will find a breakdown of the cyst, an inflamed appendix (appendicitis) and a urinary tract infection (UTI). The symptoms of these three medical conditions are so similar that doctors are not sure what you have until they have done an ultrasound to examine your schedule and inflammation of cysts on the ovaries or analysis urine for a urinary tract infection. If you are not sure you have a cyst, then I suggest you also consider what you might have an inflammation of the appendix or urinary tract infection. They can give you antibiotics for three, then do not worry.
