Penile Candidiasis http://www.healthcaretopic.com/penile-candidiasis yeast infection of the penis question?

ok then went to doc a few days ago and received a diagnosis of candidiasis penis. I got it from my gf about a month ago when she was on heavy antibiotics. So I went to the doc gave me pills and anti-fungal cream that I've been on every 8 hours or whenever I sweat or do an activity. So far, I think I'm better now. it does not work so badly over (it hurts to take the foreskin, now it does not work at all). But today, after a shower about 20 minutes to wash my hand, I noticed that when I came out he was bleeding from a specification on the foreskin, the thing I had bleeding before when i wasn't on medication, but has not happened recently when I took it. Is this normal? bleeding only hurts when I take the punishment on the side. Could it be irritation of the yeast rash thingy /?

This is not normally found with the yeast. I heard that some women get yeast infections so bad and so long that they could be bleeding, but usually it is only after repeated yeast infections for months. I doubt that the bleeding is from yeast. Definitely call the doctors office property. I guess they'll have or Diflucan generic form and I do not think bleeding is a side effect of this drug.

You probably broke the skin when you were washing. I do not worry if you do not see obvious scabs or cuts. Probably the dry skin and rashes.

Pcos Cancer http://www.healthcaretopic.com/pcos-cancer PCOS and ovarian cysts: How to prevent and treat this condition

One of the most important concerns of women is that their reproductive health. Considering that ovarian cancer is the fifth cause of cancer death among women, regular checks for possible symptoms associated with ovarian cysts and ovarian cancer should be a priority, particularly in As a woman approaches middle age. The following contains information on ovarian cysts, PCOS, and how to diagnose and treat gynecological issues.

What is an ovarian cyst?

An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac that forms on the surface of the ovary. These cysts are actually incompletely developed follicles that have not been fertilized normally disappear after a few menstrual cycles. These cysts are known as "functional cysts, cysts that are relatively benign outcome of the release of an egg from the ovary. The vast majority of these cysts often appear as non-cancerous forms, but there are ovarian cysts which can turn cancerous. Women over 50 are most sensitive for ovarian cysts and should seek medical advice if they suspect that these cysts are cancerous.

What is PCOS?

PCOS stands for polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition that the effects of 4 per cent and 10 per cent of women who are of childbearing age. The word "Polycystic" refers to the condition of having an accumulation of cysts in the ovaries. The cysts involved in PCOS are not dangerous in themselves, but there is the possibility of a hormonal imbalance triggered by the presence of these cysts, leading to symptoms associated with PCOS distinctive. This is not quite clear about the precise cause of PCOS, but there are factors that can lead to this syndrome, including obesity, insulin resistance, hormone disrupters such as external pollution or chemical environment and genetic predisposition syndromes such as, among other potential triggers.

Are ovarian cysts dangerous?

The vast majority of cysts are benign variety that usually does not cause pain or discomfort. In most cases, most women do not realize they have ovarian cysts at all. But there are cases where ovarian cysts can cause a significant amount of discomfort, especially during sex. Ovarian cysts may suddenly bleed or rupture, causing severe pain in the abdominal and pelvic regions. In rare cases, cysts may form in the corpus luteum, which increases 3 to 4 inches in diameter while causing pelvic or abdominal pain, especially if the cysts are able to twist the ovary. For women in their fifties, ovarian cysts can develop into cancerous tumors, with the possibility of spread to lymph nodes and other tissues.

What types of cysts?

As mentioned previously, the vast majority of cysts are "functional", which normally cysts disappear on their own in about 1-3 months after ovulation. These cysts are products of the process of ovulation and are generally so small and discreet that you can not even realize you have one. Another type of ovarian cyst is normally benign cystadenoma, which develops from cells on the surface of the ovary. In some cases, these cysts can grow particularly large, putting pressure on the abdominal organs causing pain. Dermoid cysts are composed mainly of fat, while containing a mixture of other tissues. Such cysts are usually small and relatively benign, but there are rare cases of dermoid cysts can grow to large sizes and eventually burst. This causes abdominal bleeding and is sufficiently serious to warrant a visit to the emergency hospital.

Endometrioma is another type of cyst that might develop in the ovaries. These cysts are formed when endometrial tissue inside the uterus finds its way into the ovaries. Diet Plans http://www.healthcaretopic.com/diet-plans 6 Important Factors for Diet Plan Success

As the industry of weight loss becomes increasingly prosperous more and more diet plans have become available. The problem is that many of these diet plans are completely absurd and does not work at all. Sure, some diet plans are effective, but you really want to waste your time and money trying to find the right one? No, me neither! Therefore in this article that I did the work for you and listed six criteria that should be part of any successful diet plan.

1) Honesty: - Many diet plans are full of outrageous claims such as "rub this gel on her stomach and watch the fat melt away." However, can we really trust a diet that is such unrealistic claims? Losing weight is not easy and any diet plan that claims also likely to be fraudulent and ineffective. Try searching for diet plans which make more honest claims such as "lose 10 pounds in a months "because they are likely to be those that really work.

2) Proof: - If a diet plan really works, then there should be clinical evidence that says so. Although clinical trials are not 100% foolproof (they may be sponsored by the company diet or the results may have been presented selectively to make the diet plan look more favorable), they are good indicator of the effectiveness of a diet plan. When looking for diet plans that have been scientifically tested you are more likely to find one that works for you.

3) no forbidden foods: - When a food is forbidden, it becomes all the more tempting. This usually leads to you want food to such an extent that you binge. For example, say your favorite food is cookies, but your diet plan has the forbidden. You've managed to resist for two weeks, but then you make and eat a full pack. The end result is that you eat too many calories and sabotage all your good efforts on the food. To avoid this, you should look for diet plans that restrict the foods you eat, but still allow you to treat yourself from time to time.

4) without side effects: - Even if a diet plan helps you lose weight in a way that works for you, you will not be subjected to unpleasant side effects. For example, go on the Atkins diet has been associated with bad breath, constipation and nausea. Some health professionals even believe the diet can cause more serious health risks such as heart disease and osteoporosis. Therefore, be sure to research every plan you choose to ensure there are no unpleasant side effects associated.

5) No Calorie Counting: - Any good diet plan will require that you have a general understanding of calories and the amount you should eat each day. However, if you count every single calorie that you take each day you'll quickly become discouraged. The diet plans more successful you will learn to eat healthily and in time, you will learn to reduce your daily calorie intake without counting every calorie individual.

6) Accessibility: - Even if a diet plan meets all the criteria above will not be successful unless you can afford. Some diet plans require you to buy special meals to participate. However, these meals are usually expensive and can quickly burn a hole in your wallet. I recommend you choose a diet that does not require you to buy special foods and is therefore accessible to almost any budget.

diet plans that will be retained should help you lose weight and make this process as simple and easy to manage. They must be honest, without limitation, proven and affordable. When choosing a diet plan make sure it matches all the criteria above or you may find yourself disappointed by the results.

Yeast Infection Medication http://www.healthcaretopic.com/yeast-infection-medication What does it mean if the drug causes yeast infection first burn?

I inserted a probiotic drug to fight against yeast and severely burned during a certain time. Does this mean that I do not have a yeast infection or the drug is effective?

Basically, the reason you have a yeast infection is because there is an imbalance in your body. A healthy person has a balance between the yeast in their bodies and the good bacteria in their bodies.

Too much yeast, you have a yeast infection. Too much bacteria you have a bacterial infection.

So when you have a yeast infection you essentially yeast in your body too from the good bacteria. The natural way to treat and restore this balance is to starve the yeast and introduce more good bacteria in your body.

Oh and BTW - This is why you often get temporary relief from the use of drugs on the counter, then the yeast infection returns. The creams are not to change the source of the problem. They are killing the yeast, they come into contact with, and not the balance of yeast / bacteria in your body and sometimes end up making things worse.

Oh BTW2 - This is also why many times you get a yeast infection after antibiotic use. Antibiotics kill all bacteria in your body, good and evil. When this occurs the balance between yeasts and bacteria is well off, and again and you get a yeast infection.

What you can add to your diet (to help promote good bacteria) are live cultures of yogurt (or take acidophilus), plenty of water, fresh vegetables, many foods rich in protein, whey protein, raw garlic, nuts, seeds, oils, millet, rice and sounds of oats

What you need to remove from your diet (to starve the yeast) are all sodas, sugars, fruits, fermented foods, foods containing white flour, alcohol (especially beer) antacids and any product that has yeast or mold

Changing your diet will certainly put you on the path of balance between good bacteria and yeasts, but also what I recommend to use a homeopathic solution to help accelerate the natural process.

I always feel it is a natural way to do something, then it is better to avoid chemicals. I want a natural product that can be taken orally to promote new growth of good bacteria in your body.

There are few, I think they are probably all very well. The one I used and was very effective for me was is yeastrol.
Good luck!

Hope this helps and good luck! :)

I added the link I used if you're interested in learning more.

This means call your doctor

Without knowing what the insert was it is hard to say. I know that many of the inserts for the probiotic yeast also contain a small amount of boric acid and can burn. Gynatren is one of those. Good product, but can burn because of boric acid.

The fact that you used stung and burned does not mean that it works (or does not) or you do not have a yeast infection. This simply means that the skin is sensitive.

Make sure you have a yeast infection (by obtaining a swab taken by your doctor) before treat you for it. If it's something else that could make things worse.

If the insert was Gynatren you can read more below. Hope this helps.

Is Cervical Cancer Curable http://www.healthcaretopic.com/is-cervical-cancer-curable Cervical Cancer and Circumcision

The bad news about cervical cancer of the uterus is that it is one of the most common cancers affecting the female genitalia. But cheer up! It is a slow growing cancer and 100 percent curable if detected early.

Cancer of the cervix primarily affects women between 30 and 55. The National Cancer Institute said there are more than 11,000 cases discovered each year.

What is cancer of the cervix? Naturally, a woman with a cervix is prone to the disease, but there are certain risk factors to consider. Sexual promiscuity is one of them.

Women who start having sex before age 18 are more likely to contract the disease. The cervical simply can not support many strokes of the birch different men who can perform a variety of infections. These include papillomavirus (which is responsible for warts), genital herpes, chlamydia organism, and other carcinogens.

You've had a lot of pregnancies that began at a tender age, that puts you at risk for cervical cancer as well. On the positive side, women who use barrier methods of contraception, namely, cervical cap, diaphragm, or leave their partners to wear condoms, which in all cases to protect the neck, lower rates of cancer .

For some reason, smoking affects the cervix and the accumulation of nicotine in the body can trigger the disease. Passive smokers are at risk themselves. So quit now and avoid those that do. A diet rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C, folic acid and is considered protective against cancer of the cervix. Thus, it is probably wiser to eat your vegetables.

Circumcision was once thought to protect women against cancer of the cervix, but we now know that this is not true. This procedure is not painful medical benefits and should be discouraged, except in special cases.

There are usually no symptoms at an early stage of the disease. warning signals, such as bleeding after intercourse, bleeding between periods or after menopause. In some, there is a watery, bloody discharge from the vagina. A dull back pain may be felt later.

With early detection, cancer of the cervix is curable if it has not spread beyond the uterus. An annual review of the pelvis and a routine Pap test can save you a lot of trouble.

Since the 1940s, the cervical smear has reduced the death rate from cancer by 70 percent. Today, about three percent of women die of this disease Thank you for this test values.

"A Pap smear is the best screening procedure for cervical cancer of the uterus. It can detect early lesions and precancerous lesions of the cervix. Apart from that, a Pap test can also detect the infection, "said Dr. Rey de los Reyes, an obstetrician and gynecologist at Doctors Medical Center-USA in the Philippines.

The Pap test is named after Dr. GN Papanicolaou who developed it. In this test, the doctor collects samples of cells on the surface of the cervix by means of scraping with a wooden spatula, a brush or cotton swab. The cell samples are sent to a laboratory for analysis.

"A negative result means your cervix is normal, positive result indicates some abnormal cells. A positive result does not prove that you have cancer or even dysplasia, a precancerous condition, but it usually means you should have further evaluation, such as colposcopy and biopsy,''said Dr. David E. Larson, editor of the "Mayo Clinic Family Health Book."

A colposcope is an instrument with a magnifying glass that allows the physician to examine the cervix. In doing so, it removes a little of the cervix (biopsy) for analysis.

"Once you have a suspicious lesion on the cervix should be biopsied. Because some lesions of the cervix and even infection may resemble cervical cancer, a biopsy can accurately detect the disea.]]> Can You Get Rid Of Hpv http://www.healthcaretopic.com/can-you-get-rid-of-hpv How can you get rid of HPV?

I have HPV. I had a colpscopy and biopsy and they said that the positive results. So I know I should not worry, but I was just wondering how I can get rid of it.

There is no cure for HPV.

Most women are able to get rid of the virus on their own good, but others have the rest of their lives. For some women their bodies are basically able to "fight", but this is not always the case.

Just stay on top of your Pap smear and try to stay healthy. You may be able to get rid of your own. Good luck to you!

You can not. It may go dormant in the time and sometimes disappear, but there is no cure. Make sure you get annual reviews at the head of cervical cancer. You'll be fine.

You do not!

ask the doctor, they can be very useful

I had them too often ... HPV may go away on its own ... sometimes not. there is a procedure, they can do as well ... I made all these things (actually 7 years ago) and I am healed ... I went to Pap tests ever three months and now I go once a year. and they all came back well. Do not worry if you'll be fine!

you have all your life

He stayed there forever. Also in women, it causes cancer of the cervix.

Is a virus. You can not just get rid of him.

With some people, it may disappear over time.

Do not worry. It usually resolves itself. Just be sure to have your Pap test every six months until the "normal" and then every year thereafter.

you can not no cure

Candida Relief http://www.healthcaretopic.com/candida-relief How do you know if you have Candida

Candida overgrowth has been found on a frequent complication or even a causative factor in many diseases today. Treatment is available, but the diagnosis must come first.

Yeast is normally present in the mouth, throat, intestines and genitourinary tract. Its presence in the body is not normally a problem and is balanced by a properly functioning immune system and bacteria. If the immune system stops working properly, or the level of bacteria in the body becomes too low - as can happen when antibiotics are too established in the body, when steroids are used when the stress of everyday life becomes overwhelming or with poor diet choices - then Candida overgrowth may occur.

Someone with an overgrowth of yeast can experience a number of unpleasant symptoms such as a genital yeast infection, thrush in the mouth, fatigue, rashes, depression and anxiety. The symptoms of Candida overgrowth are frequently treated with antifungal medicines. Even with these measures, however, if your diet is not changed to create an environment within the body to prohibit the proliferation of Candida, relief is certain to be temporary, and problem symptoms will return.

As Candida is a normal component of the natural flora of the body, using conventional laboratory tests to determine the need for treatment is not always useful, and in general can help diagnose the latter stages of a yeast infection. current screening methods include the verification of the presence of yeast cells in urine, saliva and feces, or the test of intestinal fermentation, which involves testing blood for alcohol, the determination of the patient sugar and blood test again - if alcohol is manifested in their blood, it is assumed that there was fermentation of yeast in their digestive tract.

It is also difficult to diagnose Candida overgrowth for a number of reasons. It shares symptoms with other conditions such as gluten intolerance and hypothyroid - and any combination thereof may be present simultaneously, adding to the difficulty of diagnosis.

Another factor is that available tests are able to recognize that some of the 150 known strains of Candida cells in the specimen may die while waiting for analysis resulting in a false "normal" result. With the test, then, other factors must be considered before the diagnosis can be made. The physician must consider whether the patient has a history of factors that are known to result in Candida infections and establish that there are associated symptoms. In addition, the competent physician will experiment with dietary and antifungal therapy to see if there are reactions consistent with Candida overgrowth. http://www.candidarelief.com/candidatest/

Herbal remedies and prescription drugs may be useful in treating a yeast infection with diet and lifestyle changes. Check with your herbalist to the dose, method of use and formulations. For antifungal remedies not available over the counter check with your doctor about side effects, costs and availability.

Researchers are working on the discovery of better testing protocols to establish the need for earlier treatment.

Keep your immune system, "friendly" bacteria, and Candida in proper balance is achieved through a combination of proactive changes, by changing your current diet, and with the responsible use of herbal treatments or medicines you can keep a healthy body.

Metastized Breast Cancer http://www.healthcaretopic.com/metastized-breast-cancer What do doctors test for whether we metastized?

I have breast cancer. If it is not in the lymph nodes and chest was removed, how will we ever know if she becomes metastized? T it appear in the blood?

Cancers are generally organized by the TNM system, which has to do with the tumor, the number of nodes that are involved and whether there were metastases at initial diagnosis. At the time of initial diagnosis, you can be controlled with a PET scan for metastases.

In the case of a woman who underwent a mastectomy with lymph node negative, there are number of concerns. Firstly, if the tumor recurs locally, which is found in other soft tissues or bones of the affected side, or if a second tumor occurs in the remaining breast. This may be a screening mammogram and evaluated with an MRI of the remaining breast and chest wall.

The tumor may also breed in the regional lymph nodes, usually those of the armpit or axilla. These can be felt by you or your health care provider.

There are a number of places that tumors can metastasize to. Your health care provider may also order lab work or blood tests to monitor tumor markers in blood, but they are not always 100% effective.

Another thing you might want to consider is to have a test done Score & Dx Oncogene. This can help predict your risk of recurrence.

When you have breast cancer, followed regularly with your oncology team is important, including mammograms in the chest rest. Your case is so unique that if you have any questions, ask your oncologist. If your oncologist can not answer your questions, ask the nurse - oncology nurses are generally very intelligent and can help you. Good luck!

First, all my hopes and prayers are with you. You should ask these questions to your doctor, but after losing a close friend, I learned how that works when you have cancer can metastasize to other body parts, namely the liver , brain, bone, etc. .... but as I said "PLEASE" talk to your doctor about this. Do not live in fear and know that others pray for you. Good luck ^ _ ^

Hello, I'm a cancer too, and I love the simple tips given Stony Re: your question. First, do not live in fear. "Fear is the mindkiller. I will face my fears and attach it and look where it can go ...." Second, replace your fear with hope, even faith is stronger than hope. Therefore, our prayers are with you. In answer to your question about how you know if the cancer has metastasized, there are markers in the blood can be measured by specific blood tests. There is a link that may shed light on this issue below in the text box spring. Hope this helps reduce anxiety.

Pregnancy Predictor http://www.healthcaretopic.com/pregnancy-predictor Where can I find an ovulation predictor designed to be used to prevent pregnancy?

WebMD and other sites warn not to use their predictors to prevent pregnancy. All sites of ovulation prediction that I found are geared towards people who want to become pregnant.

You can still use the predictors to determine when you're most likely not get pregnant. Use the reverse? It seems a bit obvious answer for me. : S
It is much easier to go on the pill, but I would say.

A predictor ovualtion is only to tell you when you are ovulating - if you use this information to get pregnant or not. The only 100% to prevent pregnancy is not to have sex at all. Otherwise, I recommend you use a dual approach - condom and diaphragm or something like that. There is always a chance of getting pregnant even with the "pull and pray". Before a man ejaculates, there may be semen on the tip, which puts you at risk of becoming pregnant. It is not true that you can get pregnant while ovulating. I got pregnant while on my period - twins, one was in my tube and the other in the womb.

Cervix Cancer Vaccine http://www.healthcaretopic.com/cervix-cancer-vaccine Side effects of the vaccine against cervical cancer

I am a pharmacist and get this question a bit.

Side effects of the vaccine against cervical cancer

So, here's the scoop ... It was really to be the vaccine against cervical cancer, because 99% of cervical cancers linked to HPV. The human papillomavirus (HPV) is a virus that has many different strains (ie, HPV-1, HPV-2, etc.). Some strains of HPV can cause common warts on the feet, hands, etc. Then there are sexually transmitted strains of HPV that cause genital and anal warts. STDs other strains of HPV have been associated with various cancers (penis, rectum). Even other STDs strains of HPV (there are lots!) Have been linked to cancer of the cervix (called high-risk strains).

As I mentioned earlier, studies show that 99% of women with cervical cancer also have HPV. However, not everyone is against the high risk HPV will develop cancer of the cervix. Most cases of HPV (all strains) are cleared naturally by the body within two years.

Sometimes, the high risk HPV cons will stay longer for these women to their risk of cancer of the cervix increases. However, they still can not get cancer of the cervix, because the high-risk HPV and a few other things (that are not yet understood), and the cause of cervical cancer.

It's like an equation: risk HPV + X + Y = cancer of the cervix.

So the idea is that if we can vaccinate the high risk HPV, HPV we can take the equation and we hope to reduce the risk of developing cancer of the cervix. In the States we now Gardisil vaccine against HPV, which covers:

1. Two strains of high-risk HPV that are responsible for 70% of cases of cervical cancer and

2. Two strains of HPV that cause 90% of cases of genital warts.

Lung Cancer Secrets Revealed Click Here

The vaccine is relatively new it was released to the States in 2006. Girls Currently, it is approved and females 9-26 years and is given to a series of three shot (at 0, 2 months and 6 months). Even with the vaccine, there is a risk of getting HPV high risk because 1) it does not protect you 100% and 2) it does not cover 30% of strains of high-risk HPV that can lead to cervical cancer of the uterus.

Common side effects include pain and swelling at the injection site, headache, fever, loss of consciousness. More serious side effects, seizures, Guillain-Barre syndrome, severe allergic reactions and 17 deaths (even if they were judged to be unrelated).

So ... does it work? Well, for now studies show it works very well to prevent genital warts and abnormal Pap smears. But because it is new, there are some problems to solve ...

1. Studies show that the vaccine protected three sides for at least five years, you do not know if girls / women need later, a booster

2. It is assumed that because the vaccine decreased abnormal Pap smears that reduce the incidence of cancer cervix too much though because cancer of the cervix usually takes at least 10 years to appear after HPV high risk and it is still relatively early in the test girls / women, it is not yet proven.

I know that this kind of thing can be confusing so please contact me, your local pharmacist or doctor.

So, here's the scoop ... It was really for.]]> Stage Iii Ovarian Cancer http://www.healthcaretopic.com/stage-iii-ovarian-cancer Stage 2 Ovarian Cancer - How Leg Pain Saved My Life

I never thought of ovarian cancer, and why should I? When it comes to gynecological cancers you hear about breast cancer all the time, the uterine cancer, cervical cancer and when you go to your annual Pap smear, but you never hear much about the about ovarian cancer. I think it becomes a little more noticed these days, but years ago I did not really think about it.

I'm sure I've probably heard the words before at some point, but until I was diagnosed with Stage 2 ovarian cancer I was pretty ignorant of the signs and symptoms and had no idea of what to look for. Not to mention that I was a very healthy person - rarely even had the flu or colds - and the last thing I expected to hear from my doctor was the dreaded word "cancer."

In fact, I probably had some warning signs for some time, even years, but I attributed all as just regular old shops to get a little older (but not so old, I don ' had only 43) and by this time in life when things start to bother you or fundamentally different collapse, like a car that is nearing the end of your warranty. You know how it happens, your warranty runs out and you're in the repair shop every fortnight.

So I had a very typical symptoms and had no idea, symptoms such as indigestion (never had that before), bloating, changes in menstrual periods (heavier), and some pelvic pain shortly after my periods. The pelvic discomfort / bread was really a strange symptom, I thought it was not well with this time of the month, but a few days. But then he would go and I would just figure, you know, aging, and so on.

But then I started having this annoying leg pain. It was sort of a pain radiating, so I thought it must be something to do with a nerve. I have a little medical knowledge so I thought, could it be some sort of issue back like sciatica? No, I do not think so, because he did not follow the usual MO for this type of neuropathic pain. Instead of being alleviated by rest was mitigated by getting up and walking. Maybe a muscle strain? How about fibroids? Yes, that was it, I decided, fibroids. I went online and researched all the symptoms and everything added up! A fibroid must be enormous pressure on my sciatic nerve and causes the leg pain intolerable aggravating. I made an appointment with my gynecologist and she agreed, yes, that must be it. Wow, great, nothing that serious to worry about.

My gynecologist sent me for an ultrasound, where a large mass was seen, so I was immediately sent to a gynecologist oncologist. It was very scary, but I was reassured by hearing this is the best person for any type of GYN problems (not only cancer, but nothing abnormal) that are outside the norm because these doctors are very specialized. However, it is very scary to be sitting in the oncologist's office wondering if you could have cancer. You look around the waiting room and see all the patients treated with chemotherapy obvious, and it's pretty impressive.

Once I had my exam, my doctor scheduled surgery, and soon! My statement was made six days later and the diagnosis was stage 2 ovarian cancer.

I then start chemotherapy. I do not want to hear it! All I could think of was losing my hair. In the grand scheme of things is such a small thing, but believe me, when you are facing what seems simply horrible and terrible.

But there was good news hidden inside all bad and that was that I had stage 2 ovarian cancer and not a later stage that is most often diagnosed (due the fact that no one realizes they have symptoms to be worried about). Only a very small percentage of diagnoses are made in stage 1 or 2. The majority of all diagnoses of ovarian cancer are at stage 3 or 4. These stages are much di.]]> Having A Hysterectomy http://www.healthcaretopic.com/having-a-hysterectomy Endometriosis Part 51-What is hysterectomy??

History Of Osteoporosis http://www.healthcaretopic.com/history-of-osteoporosis Osteoporosis - Causes, symptoms and treatment methods

Osteoporosis is a disease in which bones become fragile and more likely to break. Osteoporosis is often considered a condition that frail elderly women develop. Osteoporosis causes literally abnormally porous bone that is more compressible like a sponge, dense as a brick. This disorder of the skeleton weakens the bone leading to an increased risk of breaking bones (fractures). A broken bone can really affect the life of a woman. It can cause disability, pain or loss of autonomy. It may make it more difficult to perform daily activities without assistance, such as walking. If you have osteoporosis, you have an increased risk of fractures (broken bones), especially in the hip, spine and wrist. In most cases, bones weaken when you have low levels of calcium, phosphorus and other minerals in the bones. The process of remodeling bone resorption to matrix synthesis to mineralization normally takes about eight months - a slow but steady. The disease is "silent" because there are no problems when you have osteoporosis, and the disease can come to attention only after you break a bone. Osteoporosis can also accompany endocrine disorders or result from excessive use of drugs such as corticosteroids.

Osteoporosis can cause a person to lean forward and appear to have a hump on his back. The most serious and debilitating osteoporotic fracture is fracture of the hip. The goal of treatment for osteoporosis is prevention of fractures in the first place. People with osteoporosis most often fractures of the hip, spine and wrist. Most hip fracture patients who previously lived independently will require help from their family or home care. United States, nearly 10 million people already suffer from osteoporosis. Another 18 million have low bone mass that puts them at increased risk of developing osteoporosis. Any bone can be affected, but of special concern are fractures of the hip and spine. One in two women and one in four men over age 50 will break a bone in their lives because of osteoporosis. A hip fracture almost always requires hospitalization and major surgery. Normal bone is composed of proteins, collagen and calcium. Bones affected by osteoporosis can fracture with only a slight fall or injury that normally would not cause a bone fracture.

Causes of Osteoporosis

Common causes and risk factors for osteoporosis are:

Family history of osteoporosis.

Smoking.

Anorexia nervosa.

Lack of exercise or rest in bed long term can cause brittle bones.

Small, thin women are more at risk.

Some medications such as steroids.

Drinking alcohol.

Lack of dietary calcium.

inactive lifestyle.

Low levels of testosterone in men.

longer interval after menopause.

Symptoms of osteoporosis

Some signs and symptoms related to osteoporosis are:

Back pain, which can be serious if you have a fractured or collapsed vertebra.

Fractures.

Loss of height over time, with an accompanying stooped posture.

A dull pain in the bones or muscles.

neck pain.

Treatment of osteoporosis

Here is the list of methods of treatment of osteoporosis:

A balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D.

Alendronate (Fosamax ®) This drug belongs to a class of medications called biophosphonates and is approved for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.

Exercise.

Do you suffer from Candida or yeast infections? Do you think that this disease continues to attack your body in spite of all attempts to eliminate it from your? Well, rest as you could still try one of the remedies most effective Candida called oil of oregano.
The overproduction of a certain type of yeast in the body due to lack of immunity is called Candida or yeast infections. Recent research has revealed that the Candida germs into your mouth, throat and digestive tract of every human being and also in the vagina in case of women.
There may be many physical and mental symptoms caused by Candida overgrowth chronic conditions such as abdominal pain, fatigue, skin infections and even cognitive difficulties. As the extent of symptoms and causes, treatment methods are also of the variety. Some of the processes most popular treatments are:
give foods with probiotics, like yogurt to keep Candida levels in human beings in control
have a diet that is sugar free and crab Candida thus refraining from its main source of intake of foods and drugs prescribed antibiotics for fast relief
But when all these treatments fail to produce fruitful results, you can take a try to cure your disease with regular use of natural medicine, oil of oregano.
Oregano is a kind of plant that was originating from Mediterranean countries in about 3000 BC Greeks used to extract the juice from the oregano plant and use it as a cure to various infections such as fungal infections, cough and cold infections and infections of the heart. This method of fighting against infectious diseases has been reduced again in this modern era of treating or Candida yeast infection. The plant extract of oregano is now combined with virgin olive oil to treat the oil of oregano. Only two books of oil is created from about 200 pounds of flowers and leaves of wild oregano herb.
Due to the frequent use of prescription drugs, the bacteria that cause Candida form a solid resistance against them. Thus, these drugs can give you relief for a short period, but can not find a permanent solution to your problems. Oil of Oregano, in contrast, does not cure candida it prevents further attacks. Vaccine Against Cervical Cancer http://www.healthcaretopic.com/vaccine-against-cervical-cancer I am 15 years old, was not a virgin. Can I still get the vaccine against HPV against cervical cancer?

I had sex several times, but always with a condom.
My partner has HPV and does not then I hope
I know that the JAB which is only distributed to 12 and 13 years, but I really want to move but I said you can not have it if you've had sex. Is this true?

Vaccination is recommended for women 26 years and under, regardless of whether you have had sex. In many cases, HPV can be seen on a male partner and is therefore impossible to know whether a man is a carrier without a blood test ... unless of course you are his only partner.

You can still get the vaccine against HPV, even if you have had sex. However, if you already have (it can not "appear" in the form of warts or abnormal cells for several years), then it will not help.

You can not know if your partner has HPV. That's the scary part. Boys / men 'wear it, but show no symptoms and are not tested for HPV - they simply circulate the information.

I would have received the vaccine and not having sex for a while. There is more to have sex than to worry about HPV. Condoms have a failure rate of 12% - which means 12 of the 100 people who use condoms become pregnant after one year of use. Count the number of girls in school. 12 of every 100 of you (or more) will get pregnant - and there is no way of knowing which. So if you do not want the risk of pregnancy and parenting, please stop having sex until you have at least completed high school.

Canada

The vaccine, Gardasil, is administered in three shots over six months. The vaccine is routinely recommended for girls 11 and 12 years old. It is also recommended for girls and women aged 13-26 years who have not yet been vaccinated or completed the vaccine series. It is irrelevant whether you have experience coital or not.

This is not true. Our daughter was 20 years, having had a few boyfriends. This is a series of three shots separated by a lot of time, BTW.

The level of protection may not be as high (there is no sufficient data), but it's still a lot more than if you do not get Gardasil at all.

Yes

some1 get the food off.
then youll be fixed!

Glucophage Polycystic Ovarian http://www.healthcaretopic.com/glucophage-polycystic-ovarian Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and type II diabetes

PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) is a hormonal imbalance that occurs in women, and can often be mistaken for something else. Women who have high testosterone and high levels of circulating insulin. Without a diagnosis, women infertile PCOS risk, weight gain and persistent, if left untreated for a long period of time, diabetes type II.

It is estimated that over 50% of women with PCOS contract untreated diabetes type II before their fortieth birthday. Women with PCOS have an incidence of five to seven times higher for heart attack than women of childbearing age without the condition. PCOS poses a significant danger to women and should be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible.

What causes PCOS? In other words, PCOS represents multiple cysts on the ovaries. The cysts are from follicles that should be the production of oocytes (eggs) for reproduction. Due to a higher level of male hormones, these follicles do not mature, and instead remain as cysts in the ovaries. Since the follicles do not mature, the ovaries taken out under progesterone and are less likely to have their rules. With less estrogen and progesterone, testosterone secretions from a woman rose and the results of PCOS.

These cysts are sources of testosterone, which impede a woman's level of natural estrogens and cause other problems. These problems may include excessive facial hair, obesity and a decrease in the number of periods. Although all women secrete a certain level of male hormones, PCOS affected by levels of women are much higher, which stimulates other symptoms. Other symptoms may include:

Acne
high cholesterol
Hypertension
Thinning hair or male-pattern baldness

In more severe cases, patches of brown spots on elbows, chest, knees and other points on the body (note: these are also symptoms of Type II diabetes

In reviewing the symptoms, it is clear that many women with PCOS have an increased risk of heart and other circulatory diseases. Of all the symptoms, high insulin levels and persistent may be the most harmful to the health of a woman. This symptom causes constriction of blood vessels and can lead to diabetes mellitus in some cases, if left untreated.

How can we treat PCOS? There is no perfect treatment. If every woman should be treated differently. Women who suffer severe symptoms should be given steroids to reduce the acute problems. In the longer term, many women receive one or more of the following:

Birth control drugs, to regulate their periods and combat the increased production of male hormones

Anti-diabetes drugs, including Avastin and glucophage, to reduce the effects of higher levels of insulin being circulated in the blood.

fertility drugs, both to stimulate the normal production of female hormones and, in the case of infertility, pregnancy boost. The two drugs most often prescribed Clomid and are mettformin if Clomid is not enough.

In the case of production reduced pituitary, gonadotropins are administered.

Anti-androgens, such as Minoxidil (topical) are administered to counteract the influence of male hormones on hair loss. Their side effect is to reduce the overall effect of male hormones on the female body.

If these drugs are not sufficient, a woman with PCOS may undergo surgery to reduce the number of cysts in the ovaries. By "drilling cyst, the surgeon can reduce the amount of male hormones and insulin secreted by the ovaries and improve the relative performance of estrogen and progesterone. Although all surgery is potentially dangerous (especially with obese patients), it is a relatively noninvasive procedure that can be performed using laparoscopic tools.
Perimenopause Diet http://www.healthcaretopic.com/perimenopause-diet Perimenopause - A New Beginning

Perimenopause, the transitional period before menopause, can bring with it many symptoms, challenges and changes for women. You may notice that you have gained weight, especially around your mid section, or perhaps your periods are not as regular as in the past. You may also be hot flashes or night sweats and you wonder if this time in your life marks the end of your youth.

According to several studies, the answer is "absolutely not". In fact, perimenopause may well mark the beginning of a more mature, happy, beautiful and energetic - if you have the determination and self-control are the ingredients for the fountain of youth.

You can believe that the days of feeling young and full of energy are history, but it can not be further from the truth. Perhaps you have witnessed your mother - or maybe aunts - with age and the results were not enough. Believe it or not, has very little to do with you. In fact, a study by Swedish scientists found that our genes contribute only 20% - 30% to determine how we will be healthy and how long we live. This is great news because it means that it is we who determine our destiny.

Three key factors to staying young and reducing the symptoms of perimenopause are: diet, exercise and a healthy attitude and positive. Unfortunately, most women do not believe in a healthy diet and exercise. In fact, too many people become complacent and are more than happy to sit around watching television or writing e-mails, however, the excuse is always the same - "I do not have time to exercise and eat healthily. "If you were faced with adverse health conditions and severe symptoms of periomenopause (probably as a result of a sedentary lifestyle), there is no doubt that you will find time to seek and receive treatment. Why not use that time for preventive maintenance on your body so that you can reduce the risk of heart disease, osteoporosis, stroke and many other conditions that so many women cope they enter middle age?

Take a moment to consider the lifestyle of many Americans who now live past the age of 100 years. People who currently live past the age of 100 years is passively sitting behind a table, eating fatty food processing, road rage, experience, or believes that the exercise does not exceed the fingers on the computer was a enough activities for the day. Let's face it, in the 1900s people walked miles to work, not by choice but by necessity, because cars were still a luxury at that time. Boys and girls were expected to plow the fields because their parents needed help farmers at low prices. People ate what they grew, because it was available. Most work is done by hand, then, and most nutrients were natural. Preserved food was what they sealed in a jar. Tobacco and alcohol are available in the early 1900s, but the majority of centenarians of today do not indulge to excess.

The lifestyle changes needed to look and feel young and energetic, and reduce the symptoms or perimenopause, are very easy and you'll be delighted you took the time to make these changes, because the results will astound you . Your plan need not be so severe that you can not enjoy the foods you love. In fact, recent studies have shown that consumption of cocoa or dark chocolate may offer protective effects for healthy people and those at risk for cardiovascular disease. So go ahead and enjoy your chocolate - when eaten in moderation and as part of a balanced diet, it can be very good for your overall health.

In addition, red wine has been proven to increase longevity, to serve as an antioxidant and may reduce the risk or spread of breast cancer. Also, as you may know, a strong association between moderate consumption of red wine and reduce.]]>
