Rent Breast Pump

Rent Breast PumpHow much does it cost to rent a breast pump?

I'm deciding whether to buy a breast pump Madela, or rent one of our local hospital. Has anyone rented a breast pump, and if so, how did it cost per month / week?

Thank you!

I currently rent one at my hospital and it is $ 3 per day or you can choose the monthly rent is $ 50 per month. Buy is a better investment. You can find those used on Craigslist and eBay for as much as it costs to rent one. Make sure you buy your attachments for reasons of hygiene own. I would have bought mine, but I have not had time to shop for because my daughter was born premature and was in ICU, I had to pump. If you could buy one that would save you a lot of money, because once you've finished using it, you can easily sell. There is a strong demand for pumps medela then you should have no trouble selling it.

Well, I'm in Canada so I'm not sure it will help you. But the cost was $ 50 for the plastic kit, $ 200 deposit, then $ 5 per week. The Medela highest quality for home use costs about $ 250-300 so you can see that leasing is more or less the same thing if you keep every 12 months, but the hospital is of higher quality quality. Then again they are heavy and not portable.

On the positive side of a lease, you are not responsible for repairs.

Many hospitals will be rent free. The cost is quite low, since the machines are not expensive and cause quite significantly to both the mother and child.
