Keep a diary of symptoms that you feel every month is useful to confirm the diagnosis.

What are the symptoms of PMS?

How to relieve symptoms of premenstrual syndrome:
a. Reduce intake of caffeine and alcohol: - The caffeine in coffee, chocolate in many drinks and some medicines, increased anxiety and emotional instability. Alcohol can cause headache, fatigue and depression.
b. Reducing salt in foods: - It reduces the swelling caused by water retention by the body.
v. Eating foods rich in calcium: - This will reduce swelling and mood swings.
D. Aerobic exercise: - Exercise helps reduce menstrual cramps and improves mood. In addition, it releases endorphins, substances produced in our bodies that are responsible for the feeling of well being. The ideal is to practice a moderate physical activity such as walking, cycling or swimming.
e. Add complex carbohydrates in your diet, such as whole grains: - It reduces fatigue and mood swings.
f. Take a multivitamin: - PMS is caused by a lack of vitamins like A, B6, C and D is not widely accepted, some women feel better with the use of multivitamins
