Ovulation Medication

Ovulation MedicationDrugs ovulation?

My husband and I have been TTC # 1 for about six months now. I know that my doctor told me not to worry it may take up to a year but I was wondering about some of the drugs people have spoken to help you ovulate.

When I was younger I had very irregular periods and sometimes do miss months at a time. I was put on birth control for some time to help make it regularly and it has helped some because I now usually have a cycle of 30 days (4 days) from 20 to each month, even if sometimes I'm still not late or miss a monthly basis from time to time.

I read many others here with irregular periods are drugs for this so my question is:

What drugs and what are they?
What should I do to get my doctor to prescribe for me?
Are they something not covered by insurance? If this is not how much they cost?
Are there any tests from the doctor to be sure you are ovulating or not?

After TTC # 1 for six months I had a blood test that determined that I was not ovulating. I went to a endocronologist reproduction and did 6 rounds of fertility treatments (four of them Clomid is a pill that makes ovulation and 2 of them by the injection of medication into my belly have artificial insemination). I got pregnant on the last and had an ectopic pregnancy. I was not ready to make fertility treatments again, so I tried a natural supplement called Fertility Blend. It is natural and helps regulate hormones and ovulation. You can get CNG supply for $ 40 a month. The bottle said to use it for three months before it works, and I'm four months pregnant! I have a little boy of 3 months now. I would recommend you try before anything else, because the treatments are very hard physically and emotionally. Also, my insurance paid for the test to know why I get pregnant and medicine, but not visits to the doctor or insemination. The last 2 months has cost us about $ 1,500 each. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I asked the same question too PPL said I could try ovulex. They have a website that u Pilss ovulex.com is ovulating help a 30-day supply is $ 67 power supply is three months and $ 127 for six months is $ 167 if im wrong abouth both last price im close to being right near
