Ovarian CancerOvarian Cancer?

I recently had surgery for ovarian cancer and have just started chemotherapy. Has anyone been through this? Have tips to get me out of this depression?

I'm an oncology nurse and I see women like u all the time. This is not a rare disease. Many women that I treat end beng friends with each other. We run support groups. try to talk to your nurse

Sorry I have not, but I had to send my best wishes to you. Good luck and hang there .. xx

Good luck, hope that things improve for you. Try to focus on the positive things in your life, your family, the beauty of nature, etc.

I Ovarion cancer, until I went through chemotherapy and had surgery. I lost my hair part, but it was okay. I got a hollow suction wig to my head and now my hair is growing back. To get out of depression, vacationing with the family. He helped me during cancer. I hope I raised your mind enough =)

I found when I look at people who have any type of cancer, patients talk to each other and make friends so they can share their experiences with others and give each other advice .

Chemo as you know will make you feel really rotten sometimes, if you need a support network to help you in bad times, and there for good.

Maintain good communication with members of your immediate family and friends and use to help and support. Do not be afraid to ask because they will be only too happy to help.

Good luck with your treatment, all the best x

Be strong, and I wish you all the best ..

No, I havent sorry, but I hope you get better soon xxx

Hi, Yes, I was there. I was 23 when I had a hysterectomy last year. At the time I took in my stride (between the times when I fall) and I thought I'd be. Next, the hair loss has really taken its toll on me ... It was part of me, he has defined my appearance and suddenly I looked so different. The main thing that struck me is that I can not have a baby. I'm struggling still to reconcile with him, but it will be easier I promise you.
If you feel to make arrangements to have lunch with a friend or purchase a new high, you feel better. If you feel depressed talk to your friends and family if they know how you feel they can help you. You will feel very tired and weak from the chemo should not expect to feel good right now. When chemo ends, you'll be able to get up again and for now remain positive and try to do something every day, regardless of size.
If you want to chat please email me xxxxx

I did not have. But I have relatives who have been through different types of cancer. I just want to wish you the best. You will do great, keep up your optimistic side. When you feel depressed, looking for someone who loves you and bring you to a fun place, or maybe just to talk. I believe in God and I always look for the strength. If you are looking for, it will also give you the strength you need.
... Greetings
