Ovarian Cancer Survivors

Posted on March 9, 2010.
Ovarian Cancer SurvivorsWhat is the success rate of survivors of ovarian cancer and approximately how long the surgery take?

My niece is in surgery to remove an ovary (left) and I just received a text message saying she is still in surgery. I want to send comforting words. Any suggestions PLEASE.

Survival depends largely on the stage and you will not know until after surgery. The amount of the transaction takes time also depends greatly on the extent of the disease, if she had other abdominal surgery, etc. Several areas must be inspected and all of the disease, we all hope is removed as possible.
