O2 Optix Contact Lenses

My optometrist gave me O2 Optix contact lenses yesterday for me to try, because he said they are one of the best lenses on the market right now. The optician told me that they can feel a little weird on my eyes for the first two days, because they are a different material than regular soft contacts (I have worn for more 10 years). But my eyes were stinging like crazy all day! I feel bad - as I cried for hours. This can not be normal?? Should I give him a few days??

I would call the doctor and ask him about it. Feeling "weird" and evil are two different things!

I do not have the 02 Optix small, but I do wear contacts, and tingling is not normal. Either a lot and clean glasses for a few days, or just get new ones. I know how it feels, and both times it happened to me, I was new and they do no worse. If they were bad all day, you do not have to wait ... just get a new pair. If these works are not, return to your old contacts. I hope you feel better!
