Why do I constantly get muscle tension in the neck?
... And how I ended up suffering and pain?

Do you often wake up with a stiff neck? Feel like you still have pain in the shoulders? Note that you can not turn your head as you should be able to? Sometimes going to feel the tension in the head, causing headaches? Or find it is often difficult to work on the computer or drive for an extended period without increasing the tension in your neck?

Many people suffer from tightness, muscle spasms or pain in the neck. Often, if you feel the neck you can find hard nodules which are knots in the muscles or what I call the trigger points. It is very common.

Usually, the source of the problem is actually the backbone of the neck and nerves in the neck. Why? Well, to start, the nerves control our muscle function. If the pressure on the nerves in the neck muscles are not getting good communication, unbalanced and then they do not work as they should. Then, a spine that is misaligned not only contribute to possible direct pressure on a nerve by a bone or bone marrow-aligned, but also it can create an uneven Ness in the spine so that the muscles are not balanced. For example, if your spine is not straight u and down from front to back and has a curvature to the side and then the side of the curve is to have a pulled muscle and tense times. The opposite side will be a muscle shortened. Simply because of mechanics you may be able to switch over to one side while the other is limited.

Another example of the posture of the head forward. From the side view of the spinal column should be smooth flowing curves. The neck should have a C-curve of 40-60 degrees. This allows the spinal cord and nerves relaxed which stand free of any interference. It also allows your spine to support the forces of gravity at its best. It has been shown that for every inch of the drift of the head forward or car can cause 10 + more pounds of gravitational forces pressing you. Not to mention those muscles at the back of the neck, which must now work harder to keep the head and in alignment.

So you can see from two examples how imbalances can cause tension on the muscles and / or put pressure on the nerves causing pain and blocked communication in the brain and spinal cord to the muscles.

How do I get rid of this pain and neck tension?

Response: Correction of the cause - the unwanted imbalances and pressure nervous.

Get your spine treated by a chiropractor or osteopath. A massage therapist or physiotherapist can help too. The chiropractor or osteopath can adjust or manipulate the spine in his best position. They can also use muscle stretches or trigger point reimplantation techniques as does a Massage Therapist or cervical traction, electrical muscle stimulation or postural exercises that a physiotherapist can do as well.

Be aware of your posture - remember the posture is a window on your spine. If your posture reveals a port in head first, for example, your spine has lost some of the normal curve and is at the front of your center of gravity. Make sure your workstation is ergonomically correct and also be aware of things that increase neck tension and stress.

Sleeping with a good neck pillow. I recommend one with the support of the curvature normal cervix (neck of normal alignment).

Arc4life.com provides neck support pillow called the wonderful Cervical Traction Neck Pillow. head forward, is the misalignment of the most common I see. A cervical pillow or neck good work cervix.
