Gloucester Park in Perth, 19 Feb 2010 - In celebration of the 2010 Chinese New Year, Gloucester Park - Central Equity WA 2010 Miss Chinese Pageant is arguably the most prestigious beauty contests in China, Western Australia. From 2010, official sponsors and organizers of the pageant include Australia Asia Business Weekly, Gloucester Park, Global Insurance Broking Pty Ltd Central Equity Melbourne. Other sponsors are not 88 Dene Selby Finishing Productions, Australia, World Travel, reasonable makeup AuPeople, Massage Point Hair Studio Pro, Chinese Therapy Clinic, Kelvin Lai and much more. Fifteen finalists of beautiful Chinese and mixed Chinese have participated in the competition; Gaby Liu, Tan Huilin, Arnina Moore, Charmaine Galea, Joanna Hu, Candy Ong Hg, Marlene Lim Yu Winky Virginia, Jessie Yeung, Carmen Lee, Tanya Liew Vivian Zheng, Taylors Kervyn and Stephanie Smith. honorable judges, composed of Deputy Chinese Consul General in Hong Zhang, Vice-Consul of Malaysia, Mr Mohamad Zam Zami, Senior Vice-President Betty Lai Christmas Islanders Association, Director of Global Broking Glenn Simpson and Vice-President WA Trotting Association Of Parr.

The event was considered more important to the Chinese New Year celebration in the city. There were Chinese products exhibition, ten horse races, trotting races, lion dances, Cocobutter "fashion show, cultural show, raffles and fireworks to celebrate. The Opening the show began with all participants marching first into their own creative clothing Cheongsam, showcasing their talent for dance. The next segment is round swimwear and the event ended with the holding evening, where the candidates wore elegant evening gowns and Q & A segment.

The announcement took place at the main stadium of harness racing at Gloucester Park, with the number one candidate Marlene Lim cons 14 other finalists to win the prestigious title of Miss Chinese WA 2010 Grand Final. Marlene Lim, a qualified pharmacist who is originally from the town of Miri Sarawak, also won cash prizes of two thousand dollars plus other prizes. Marlene Lim has the important task of leading the Chinese culture internationally, promote and showcase the multi-racial harmony and cultural traditions of the Chinese race. Marlene was the first to go in the Q & A session and presents a very clear voice that comes from this beautiful country of Malaysia. She asked if she could go back in time, what would she change and why.

"Of course, there are many things I want to change, but these are lessons and mistakes that have made me a better person today. Currently, I am proud and happy with what I'm become and what I achieved, so if I could turn back the hands of time, I would not change anything. Thank you "she replied with a calm, but strong and confident.

It was a tie for the runner-up. Contestant number four Arnina Moore and candidate number six Joanna, two from China, shared the first place runner-up and walked away with cash prizes of one thousand dollars each, plus other prizes. Miss Congeniality 2010 WA Chinese winner was contestant number two, Tan Huilin Kuala Lumpur candidate while the number eight Winky Virginia Yu Hong Kong has gained popularity Miss / Photogenic 2010 title. Each walked away with five hundred dollars cash prizes, hampers and other prizes.
