Is it a strict diet of lean cuisine and two days of exercise per week I lost 5 pounds in a month? I really just want to loose body fat and tone as I was when I was 120 and now I am 125 so i figure about 5 pounds will do .. So I bought a bunch of Lean Cuisines, crashed at the fast food and began to work to the class twice a week. Does anyone have experience with diets Lean Cuisine?
Hello,
After reading your question, I saw that you were interested in optimizing your nutrition [(-:] so even though I may not be able to answer your question exactly as you might want answered: I thought I would take the time to pass on some pointers I learned the hard way from my own bad "uninformed" choices, so you can learn tips about good and bad advice about good nutrition choices .
I am always impressed that there is often good advice and good links to people helping others through Yahoo_Answers.
high_nutrition references a "good" diet plan low cost is shown below in PS1 that I found to have been the best nutrition possible for me to cure my heart disease problem for too long too many carbohydrates. It is also the best diet to help my health problems you have - that I know are cholesterol and calcium related because these foods are triggers for me now.
I used to be an old advocate of the Atkin meat and high fat diet before I knew what I know now, so today I do not recommend high-protein Atkins and fat diet for the long term but always recommend a "high-nutrition" 96% VEGAN diet that replaces most of the meat with lentils - but many people will not do. Sooo if I give a diet plan in PS1 below, let me share a small first to help you understand how loss and weight gain can be done better to be stronger and healthier for long term.
You may know this, but if not I would first like to explain that maintaining a plan that fights against bad habits that may be about to seriously destroy your body is sometimes quite difficult - but being fit and strong cons overweight and / or is sick all About (1) how many calories you eat versus how much you burn and (2) If your calories are mainly proteins BEST quality or mainly sugar junk carbs.
Please consider not only how few carbohydrates and lipids and proteins you eat lean how to become "stronger", but how many minerals absorbable vitamin non-toxic and are derived from protein or fat you eat.
For example, egg whites and 89% protein, but egg whites are similar in its nutrition per calorie than eating sweet corn, which has only about 15% protein. So while watching the white top of the egg protein "that is all you look at the protein level, it really is not much better for you than the sweet corn.
Not good if you understand that they have identified the problem pellagra in the south of the 1930s was the result of the high caloric intake and minimal amounts of vitamins and minerals caused by a diet consisting mainly of sweet corn. [See: <> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pellagra <>] This disease has the same long-term effects such as scurvy and beriberi problems are the result of a diet too rich in calories with not enough nutrients. They cured pellagra in dogs by giving them liver and yeast, but the problem with these are long-term effects of cholesterol in the liver and the short-term toxic effects of elemental copper in yeast Beer is the residue of rust bowl yeast is grown in.
A similar choice would be less nutrition when eating spinach net versus. boiled spinach protein contains about 56% beef 61% protein net, but spinach is nearly 700%, seven times, vitamins and minerals net calories calories. Problem.
