Volunteer for the Regional Hospital of Saint-Jacques in Nicaragua Provide heatlh and medicines for patients, depending on their illness or needs that any given patient may have for the moment. We have an emergency room for different treatments that any population may request, we are witnessing something minor surgery, major surgery, and wound seriously ill, women in labor, c-sections, new born , people involved in serious accidents, orthopedic, etc. .. We serve several communities in the department of Carazo. To cite a few: Dulce Nombre, El Rosario, Guisquiliapa, La Conquista, La Paz, Santa Teresa, Veracruz Acayo. Regional Hospital of Saint-Jacques welcomes volunteers to help with many tasks. These include, feeding and changing babies, to help nurses and doctors with patients, and giving medication on schedule. In addition, spending time in the pediatric ward, painting and drawing with the children. If you are a student or graduate nurse or a doctor, you are welcome to join in the effort to save lives in the operating room, and ER We have much to learn, including new skills and technology. This will be a revealing experience for any volunteer who is serious about pursuing a medical career.
