Hysterectomy Cervix

Do I need a pass or can it go when I get my partial hysterectomy? So much to decide. I read where you said that you should try to do everything you can to keep it.

It depends on why you are having a hysterectomy or not the neck and face cervix could be retained. Most often doctors keep as long as you're not cutting because of cancer (ie, fibroids, massive bleeding, etc.).

Just remember that if how to keep your neck, you'll still need to get your breasts. Cervical cancer can still occur unless this part of the organ is removed as well.

It's something you should discuss with your surgeon ... and tell him that you prefer to keep the cervical neck and face if possible.

hysterectomy to have the ability to .. babies?
then ur cervix is kept intact ....

if its for any other reason, like cancer ... it can be removed?
