Is there a cure for candidiasis?! Very afraid, she needed help! = (? Just found out that I have Candida albicans (yeast infection) for years without knowing it, and I am terrified that it might be too late to heal! I've never been afraid of something, but when it comes to my health, I'm terrified! It scared me! Please there is nothing I can do ?!... otherwise calm?
Relax.
Candida infection is one of the most benign, you can have!
It's just a proliferation of spores that are normally controlled by bacteria that reside in your vagina.
It is never treated with antibiotics.
In fact, antibiotics usually causes yeast infections, as they strip the "good" bacteria that inhibit yeast growth.
Instead, your doctor will give you an anti-fungal, either as pills or vaginal creams or vaginal suppositories - or a combination of pills and cream.
I promise you - it is very treatable, and no one ever died of Candida!
Just see your doctor for a positive diagnosis, and to get the most effective treatment for such "old" cases.
(Again, you might need both oral and vaginal treatment at this stage. Tell your doctor guide you.)
MEANWHILE: eating yogurt with active acidophilus cultures (read the label).
They will help restore the bacterial balance in your body.
If you do not like the taste of yogurt, then get the acidophilus pills at the pharmacy.
Ask your doctor to give you an antibiotic to get rid of.
