Does anyone know anything about plantar warts? How to heal and how long until they heal? I thought they were just mosquito bites, but they have been there for some time now and they seem to fit the description. No insurance to see a doctor so please do not recommend that. How to cure warts and how long? Should I stop working until it heals?
You can buy planter wart remover almost anywhere, I'm sure that Wal-Mart sells. I used the Dr. Sholl mark. The directions are on the box.
If they are bad and out of control (I was in a similar situation, I do not know what they were at the beginning) I suggest you get a file of maize (a file for submission by corns.) File warts as much as you can (without much pain) and then apply the planter warts.
It takes a long time. Mine took 2-3 months. Warts essentially slowly erodes the upper layer of the skin. Planter warts are living in the top layer if you get that depth to get rid of for good.
Depending on how your warts are bad it could take several weeks or more to get rid of them.
Ask a doctor.
I suggest seeing a dermatologist. But in light of your situation I would try one on the counter method. If you have more than one .. you should try to focus on you first.
OK IF THERE IS A virrus U want to get rid of them as DOCS DUE go to the pharmacy they have a new spray that will make them disappear, but they usually come BK devil they never go away on its own Goodluck HUN
Plantar warts are usually located on the soles of your feet. They are about 1 cm in diameter, may be greater. they do not rise above the surface of your skin. they appear in a white clearish. I had some while ago, they have died, fell after a few months.
OMG, they hurt like hell! Getting something as Compound-W. Basically, it is acidic. You put it on, put a dressing on and the next day you cut the dead skin with a razor blade. To do this, over and over and over until the wart disappeared. It takes a very, very long, because what you do is bring it to the surface and cut the dead part each day. I eventually got mad at them and cut them out completely with a razor blade. It worked, but it hurts very badly. I have not had in years, but I'm terrified to ever get one again.
It hurts, but if you do it properly, they will disappear.
What you need: strong claws, witch hazel, Cottonball, gloves for your hands.
You'll dig up the seeds of the wart. Yes, that means you're digging into the wart, tearing up and start digging for seeds, they look like chips. There will be a little blood, but not too much. You may have to dig and expect to get seeds out of 7.3 each. When you have them, you usually see in a cluster, then saturate with a sclerotic witch hazel and you're on your way to recovery.
Good luck
Plantar warts are benign (not cancerous) growths that occur on the soles (plantar surface), heel or the sole of the foot. Pressure from standing and walking often causes growth in the deeper layers of skin.
In some cases, podiatrists apply mild acid (eg, salicylic acid, cantharidin, dichloroacetic acid) topically to treat plantar warts. This treatment, which often requires multiple applications over several weeks, disintegrates viral cells and allows healthy skin cells to replace them.
Laser treatments (eg, CO2 laser cautery) can be used to treat plantar warts. Laser treatment is performed according to a podiatrist or a surgical outpatient setting under local anesthesia. Lasers produce little scarring and are effective in most cases.
Cryotherapy involves freezing warts with a very cold solution (eg, sodium nitride) that destroys the virus and causes the wart to turn black and fall in a few days.
