Is atypical glandular cells in the cervix as cervical cancer? How do you do when atypical glandular cells are they?
No, this does not mean you have cancer.
Kathy who answered before me must be confused, as it could not have had this, as everyone with atypical glandular cell is HPV positive and cryosurgery is an option for you. AGUS occurs in less than 1% of all smears it is not a very common finding.
No, I had this diagnosis, but after I had my son. The doctor went ahead and froze the cells in my cervix. They could of returned to normal, but my doctor. did not take a chance. They could have turned to cancer. I did not have HPV, genital wart virus, so that eased my mind.
