To get rid of yeast infection? my sister has recently begun to take antibiotics for swollen tonsils. Shortly after, she began having what appears to be symptoms of a yeast infection. I know that yeast infections can occur after recently starting a course of antibiotics because they get rid of "good bacteria" or something. So, once she stops her antibiotics, yeast infection does not go away?
Bacteria have to eat live yogurt mind .. Believe me it will work
No, it does not disappear. She can talk to a pharmacist who will, no doubt, she suggests buying vaginal cream and a single pill that will solve his problem.
Yeast infections are common after a course of antibiotics.
Antibiotics can certainly be a cause of a yeast infection. It happened to me every time I take them! the yeast infection will go away once she stops taking them but it depends on the person etc. How long will it take to go away. if it is uncomfortable I use thrush cream that really helps to ease the itching. it is probably a good idea to do once the antibiotics are finished also to help them go much faster and more flexible itching. Yeast infections do not last forever, but they can breed very often, if you're unlucky!
No, unfortunately, after antibiotics, the yeast infection will not disappear by itself. Go buy Monistat over the counter to a drug or grocery store.
Go to Wal-Mart and get an insert on a stick called CANESTEN, it is not cheap, but it will clear your problem in a day or two, then all your underwear needs to be washed hot water and a little bleach. Also use a condom with the bf because he could still be reinfected with you.
