Does anyone know of a good topical cream over the counter for genital warts? Only serious answers, please. There is no natural remedy against HPV (the virus that causes genital warts). There are several topical medications (creams) that can be used to treat warts if, as Aldara or Condylox which can be applied at home, or drugs that can be used by the doctor during several visits to them. If they are severe or medication does not work, you may need to be surgically removed, which, from what I heard can be quite painful. Do not use the-counter products on genital warts. These drugs are used for hand or foot and warts should not be used on the genital area. If they are used on the genital area can actually irritate the skin and even burn! The genital area is sensitive to the use on prescription drugs on.
It is best to consult a doctor. They can establish an accurate diagnosis and offer appropriate treatment.
You should consult a doctor.
Medications for this disease is by prescription only.
Many genital warts come and go w / no treatment. The virus remains in your system .. Nothing I know OTC their jurisdiction. Have you discussed this w / your health care provider?.
Good luck to you. RN Ca
There is not one. You'll need to go see a doctor for that.
Yeah, I had once .. but only for about a week. This was not a bad deal and they went on their own .. and they will probably come back because even if they go away it stays in your system. The only thing to do for them to get rid of them is to go to the doctors. They have special treatments for freezing off .. it may take a few visits to get rid of them, but it works. there is no topical cream or anything to get rid of any type of wart ... Good luck, yo. and keep it clean there, in the meantime.
I had a friend w / the same thing and it kept sex and other things and it got pretty nasty infection .. Gross.
This may be a situation akward or embarrassing situation for you, but the only way to get rid of HPV is to go to your doctor, personally, I had to go to doctors for treatment and have never had an accident since . Do not think there is something you can get OTC for HPV. Good luck to you in your situation.

I really want to go see a doctor. I had a wart 10 years. ago and the dr. gave me a topical cream. The problem with that was, you tend to "over-Applicate" because all you want is to get rid of them! Unfortunately, when you over-Applicate, the medicine gets on the tissues that are not affected by warts and it is very painful. The best treatment is to make laser off. it takes a few appointments. I've never had a recurrence. success
