How to treat recurrent genital warts? I was diagnosed with genital warts a little over two years. I used Aldara and was totally fine ... until last week. I had a head cold and was a little bad burning and pain "down there". My period was coming, and seeing that I work in a bathing suit all day I am subject to yeast infections, so I thought it was. However, today I noticed a group of warts at the base of my vaginal opening size of a pencil point. They are nowhere else, and I was not sure if I should wait and see if my immune system can handle himself (especially since I have not been sexually active within the last year and I had the vaccine against HPV to prevent contracting another strain) or if I should contact my doctor right away. I ask because since I graduated college, I have more insurance if it will really cost me a lot. Has anyone been a push to disappear on its own?
