MarketplaceFull HysterectomyPosted on May 17, 2011.  complete hysterectomy? I was told I need a hysterectomy, I'm only 33 and very scared. I am having a constant cause pms day after day. I started my first injection of SR PROSTAP few days ago and I was wondering if anyone has had side effects with it and how long it takes to start feeling better. I noticed today that I have a little bleeding, is this normal. My gynecologist said I can not get the injection for a maximum of six months, its kind of a trial hysterectomy, befor the real thing. I was 29 when I had a complete hysterectomy done. I had severe endo and cysts covering my ovaries. I also had early cancer of the cervix uteri. I do not know about the photos you take, because I have not done that. I can tell you after the surgery i was put in place for only about one week to the point really need help to take care of the house and my child. It seemed to heal fairly quickly. I have not had the terrible pain after her either. I thought it would be much worse than it was. docs follow your instructions and you will do well. not having a period since I was 29 was great! LOL go into menopause at 29 is the challenge. i take HRT and have since then. I started to decrease my dose because I am now 41 and feel its best if I can get a lower dose.
