Fsh Test

I know, after vat I should know, but I do not. Is this the same as PCOS. What exactly does this test, you say? I hope someone knows the answer.

I had this test done recently. It is a blood test that is taken between two and five days of your cycle. To verify the ovarian reserve (egg quantity and quality). My test results were normal and I have not done much research, I was scared but I'm sure if you search on Google you will find much more information about the test. FSH will test your ovarian reserve. It is a blood test on 2 or 3 days of your cycle. Mine was always 3 days. I think the bigger the number, the higher your ovarian reserve is. So for me to do IVF, I had to have 10 or below in my FSH. I do not know if it tests your egg quality.

I think it is pretty cheap, sterility tests go.

OPK tests of LH, or luteinizing hormone. LH is the hormone that causes follicle to ovulation.

FSH is follicle stimulating hormone, and is responsible for the recruitment of different follicles and prepare them to grow big enough to ovulate. Your doctor will prescribe a blood test for FSH to you if you need it.
