Find An Eye Doctor

Posted on March 4, 2010.
Find An Eye DoctorHow do I find an ophthalmologist for my father who has Medicaid and Medicare?

My father has problems with his vision. Im trying to find a good eye doctor for him, but I can not seem to find one that takes Medicaid or Medicare. How can I find a doctor who will take these assurances? We live in Dallas, Texas and he is 65 years. I never thought it would be so difficult to find one. Medicaid or Medicare would also cover the surgery if needed?

Contact your local hospital and request ~ Or just try the yellow pages ..

Each doctor has limits on the number of Medicaid patients Medicare / Medicaid particular because they accept a pittance for the return ~
Medicaid and Medicare covers the cost of surgery, but there may be a co-payment that would cover all depends on what types of services they receive ..

(Doctors of all specialties can refuse to take Medicaid / Medicare clients, but said they are not taking new patients, so be patient yourself! Also, there a primary care physician? In If so, he / she may have in any way to send a reference to check first!
