Diabetes InfectionDiabetes - its causes

What is diabetes?

Diabetes is a set of related diseases in which the body can not regulate the amount of sugar (glucose) in the blood.

Glucose in the blood gives you energy of nature that you need when you walk quickly, run for a bus, bike, take an aerobics class and perform your day to day.

Types of diabetes:

Type 1 Diabetes

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that affects 0.3% on average. It is the sequel to Destroy of beta cells due to the aggressive nature of cells present in the body. Researchers belive thats some of the etiology and risk factorswhich can trigger type 1 diabetes can be genetic, poor diet (malnutrition) and environment (virus affecting pancreas).

Diabetes type 2

Type 2 diabetes is also called noninsulin-dependent diabetes (NIDDM) or adult onset diabetes. It occurs when the body produces enough insulin but can not use it effectively.

Causes of diabetes:

infection by viruses or bacteria specific
exposure to food borne chemical toxins
the exhibition as a very young infant to cow's milk, where an as yet unidentified component triggers the autoimmune response
increasing age
obesity
inactivity
certain medications

Sex: It is often observed in older people, especially men, but strong evidence of developing diabetes among women with multiple pregnancy has been observed in women or suffering (PCOS) Polycystic ovary syndrome.

Hypertension: It has been reported in many studies there is direct relationship between higher systolic blood pressure and diabetes.

serum lipids and lipoproteins: High triglyceride and cholesterol in the blood are associated with hyperglycemia, in some cases it has been studied that risk are involved even with low HDL levels in circulating blood.

Insulin, the hormone comes from the pancreas, a gland behind the stomach. When you eat, your pancreas secretes insulin into the blood. As insulin circulates, it acts as a key to unlocking microscopic doors that allow sugar to enter your cells. Insulin decreases the amount of sugar in the blood. As your blood sugar decreases, the secretion of insulin from the pancreas.

Obesity is also one of the major factors causing diabetes. Excessive body weight compared to height of an individual, is a predisposing factor for diabetes mellitus. It is commonly observed in patients 40 years with Type
2 non-insulin dependent mellitus. Due to extra amount of fat in the body, insulin does not work properly in the body. Normally, the main function of insulin is to allow the sugar in the blood entering the muscle and tissue cells. But because of increased body fat, muscle and tissue cells become resistant to insulin, leading to the blood sugar in the blood (hyperglycemia) and finally diabetes.

The genes can lead to diabetes type 2:

If you or someone in your family has Type 2 diabetes, you may wonder if other family members are in danger. It appears that Type2 diabetes often goes in families and is also more common in certain ethnic groups. In fact, researchers have discovered numerous genes that may affect your risk of hereditary type 2 diabetes.
