Cysts During Pregnancy

Posted on February 18, 2010.
Cysts During PregnancyAnyone who had cysts during pregnancy?

doctor saw the results of the ultrasound today. She said there is a cyst on the other side "of my uterus (not ovaries) so I think it means that my left side because the baby is on the right. So they scheduled me for an ultrasound monitoring in four weeks.
Everyone has it, what does that mean? All I could find online was information on ovarian cysts during pregnancy but this is not what it is.

From the beginning, I had a cyst that was strictly related to pregnancy. It has been called a corpus luteum cyst. Type drove me crazy at first. My doctor brushed on the subject as if it was not a big deal. But in the end, after researching online, I discovered that it is perfectly normal. The cyst maintains pregnancy. It is also the culprit behind the aches and pains you feel. Do not worry, after about 16 weeks, it should dissolve. Your doctor did the right thing by scheduling an ultrasound monitoring.
