Yeast flourishes in environments that are warm and wet clothing can remember these things, if women wear tight clothing or non cotton. Women should wear cotton under clothes that can breathe easy. It is recommended that women change their underwear at least once a day or go to bed at night without them. Some doctors advise underwear that you wore while you are a victim of yeast infection should not only be washed thoroughly, but be ironed or zap in the microwave for at least five minutes to ensure that you kill all the bacteria completely.

Another cause of yeast infection may be chemicals that lurk in dyes, inks and fragrances. You can have an allergic reaction to certain things in your clothing or hygiene products and this can cause the environment in your vagina to cause changes and a yeast infection. You can also have problems with toilet paper colored or perfumed. If you have a tendency to contract yeast infections, make sure you use natural products that contain harmful chemicals DONT.

Condoms may be another cause yeast infection. You can contract an infection in one of two ways. Many condoms have a lubricant added that nonoxynol-9 is a spermicide that may or may not kill the AIDS virus. This can be a major cause of yeast infection for many women. You can ask your partner to buy condoms without this type of lubricant. If you are allergic to latex, it can cause yeast infection too. You can find condoms that are available from other materials if such is the case.

Your diet can cause a yeast infection as well. This does not mean that you should eat foods that contain yeast, because the two are completely different entities. Sugar is the cause yeast infection when it comes to your diet.
