Optima Health Family

Optima Health family of Star Health is a health insurance plan that provides coverage for the whole family on payment of a premium under a single sum insured. The sum insured floats among the family members insured. This is one more way to strengthen family ties.

Benefits Policy

• Hospitalization coverage: protects the insured for hospitalization of patients hospitalized for a minimum of 24 hours. These expenses include costs of room and board in accordance with policy conditions
• Nursing expenditure
• Surgeon fees, consultant fees, Anesthetist and Specialist fees
• Cost of medicines and drugs
• fees for emergency ambulance transportation of the insured in hospital until an amount of Rs.750 / - for hospitalization and overall limit of Rs.1500 / - per policy period

Super Saver Policy

• Sum insured single
• Coverage for the whole family
• For premium
• considerable savings of the family premium is covered by a policy

Pre and Post hospitalization coverage

• Pre-hospital medical expenses up to 30 days before the date of admission
• Post-hospitalization calculated at 7% of hospital expenses (excluding room charges), subject to a maximum of Rs.5000 is payable.

Family includes

• Moved, spouse, dependent children up to 25 years who are economically dependent on their parents.

Eligibility

• Anyone aged 5 months and 60 years residing in India can not take this insurance.
