I am diabetic with severe gastroparesis (as to be fed tube) and have been going to the doctor for the past 3 years with recurrent vaginitis / yeast. But in the last year I had a chronic case of vaginitis that nothing seems to help. I tried Monistat, Flagistatin, yogurt on a tampon, douche juice with garlic, showers with tea tree oil, and brushing my vagina after each shower. It is embarrassing because the discharge smells - sort of yogurt or cheese as strong? and lots of it - enough that I need to change panty liners a couple of times a day. Also, I am not, I have not been sexually active for over 5 years, if not a vd

I would appreciate any help, especially women who have also suffered from this or medical / alternative practitioners with advice.

Inserting yoghurt into your vagina is not the way forward. You should consume (eat) of yogurt on a daily basis. The enzymes in yogurt help to significantly reduce yeast infections. I know that I also suffer from yeast infections since I was very young. showers vinegar help clean the vaginal tract too. Keep your vaginal area dry, and do not wear tight fitting clothing also helps.

You can buy acidophilus tablets in any drug store, even Wal-Mart to carry them cheat price. These tables have live cultures in them and will help the bad bacteria and do not mess with the good bacteria that the vagina needs. Take two tablets daily for a meal and drinks with a glass of water. Eat lots of yogurt as yogurt has live cultures and also help as well. Stay away from bread or limit your consumption of beer or something that has a lot of yeast. Do not eat much candy, because the yeast will have a field day with sugar and multiply. Make sure you use Dove soap or a caress or vaginal products to clean with ordinary soap verse. This can cause irritation and easly allow yeast to invade. At night's sleep without underwear or underwear cotton that much of this air flow is coming into instaed heat, trapping it in. Remember that play a major role in what happens to your body so just be careful and be very aware of what your body can and can not handle.
