Cervical Neuralgia

Cervical NeuralgiaI have a wound on the back / neck and I get the hiccups all the time (15-20 times per day) could be related?

Hello, I have a back injury / neck and I get the hiccups all the time (like 15-20 times a day), and I wondered if it could be linked. I was diagnosed with neuralgia of the brachial plexus and cervical, my hands were myoclonic jerks, I have a pain in my arm to my chest and my upper back, headaches, etc. The muscles of my body also fibrous and all my doctors say they are the hardest muscles they've ever felt! I read the other day that the vagus nerve is responsible for hiccups in most cases, and that the law in the area where I had my accident, could this be the cause? The hiccups lasted about 3-5 minutes at a time, and as I said, they occur several times a day.

If this could be related:

I just was prescribed Zonegran (zonisamide) for nerve pain ... If hiccups may be linked to nervous disorders, it is possible that the Zonegran help too?

Thank you a lot!
