Cervical Curve

Posted on March 10, 2010.
Cervical CurveWhat does "Recovery of lordotic cervical curve" mean?

Recently I went to the doctor because of neck pain worse. They were pretty sure I had muscle spasms. They'd get X-Rays, I was prescribed Flexeril (I think) and told me that the results of X-Ray would be sent to me by mail. I received them today and they confirmed I had muscle spasms, but he also says;

"Recovery of lordotic cervical curve. Neurons holes appear patent "

I looked a bit online and can not find an answer that I understand.

The cervical spine (the first 7 vertebrae have) a normal curve. Your curve is straightened, which is not uncommon. Patent foramen is a good thing.
