No insurance and need cataract surgery. Are there any insurance companies that get me? I live in Florida and just found out I need cataract surgery. I have no health insurance. Is there an insurance company that I could get insurance to cover with this?
If you have been without medical insurance for over 63 days, then a new roof you may be able to get would not cover this type of cataract surgery, because it would be considered a pre-existing condition.
If the new plan has limits on pre-existing conditions, you may have to wait up to 2 years before surgery would be considered eligible for payment.
Your only option is a group policy through an employer. Then, after the waiting period, typically 6 to 12 months, the transaction would be covered.
It is a common situation many people have met, calm yourself, and check the resource that I found useful.
