Is there a home test for candidiasis? In fact, it is! There are some things you can search and use for a fairly accurate self-diagnosis (and I'm sure it goes without saying that you should see a doctor, even though most doctors do not know what they are talking about when it comes to Candida). The first test is a sort of gross, but if you spit into a glass of water, and you see the saliva travel to water in the glass in spears, which is an indication of Candida present in saliva. Another symptom is fungal nails, and most of the time people who have Candida breath will turn sour immediately after eating something sweet.
I hope these help. Candida can be overcome fairly easily if you cut simple carbs, sugar and dairy products, and take probiotics like acidophilus. You can also eat yogurt, it contains probiotics which can help settle your stomach chemistry right again.
You did not specify whether you are a man or a woman and talk about the proliferation of systemic yeast infections or vaginal yeast.
It is not a test at home - its usually treated on the basis of symptoms or microscopic identification of the body. There are nonprescription drugs for vaginal yeast infections.
