Breastfeeding Pads

Breastfeeding PadsDoes anyone have problems with breastfeeding nursing pads causes pain nipple?

I tried many brands of nursing pad and by the end of the day my nipples are killing me. Any recommendations? I use nipple cream after every meal, but this does not relieve the pain.

I agree with all the messages before. Looks like you're letting them wet or damp all day. constant humidity is not good for them and hurt them. Do not wear a bra when you're at home, and just use a layer or burp cloth to catch the other breast milk while you eat. The gel pads and Cale lil are good, but they also keep your nipples moist. Easy on the cream, and too few days to see if the house without a bra and let them air dry helps.

Good luck!

Try a piece of cabbage, cold in the refrigerator. This helps to waterlogged and also helps relieve the pain of sore nipples. Just a piece of stick on your breasts in your bra. There is also a cream called Lansinoh is the best I found. I saw this kind of thing. Hope this helps.

I had this problem and my doctor gave me a script for this kind of thing gauze covered with lanolin. It was amazing that you just cut a small amount and stick on the end of your nipple until the next feeding. its really soothing and stops you sticking to the touch nipples of the breast, so now i just skip a bit of pure lanolin or Petrolium Jelly on the nipple when they are a bit sore and I think the pavement stops rubbing or sticking . I also use Johnsons breastfeeding, they are great! hope this helps.

YES! I understand. You know what I've found that works so well? They are manufactured by Johnson & Johnson and called Johnson nursing pads on the box and he said: "superior softness and protection and super absorbent. Exclusive contour shape. Tape. upper half of the box is blue and the background is light blue.

they are curved to fit your breast and a small crater (poor choice of wording LOL) for your nipple so it does not crash leaves and they are very soft and padded and may appear cumbersome They do not look bulky under your shirt, it looks like .... boob!

Try to change them often.

yesssss mine were always wrong, I used folded handkerchiefs instead hun

Try Cale-lys (the best rug ever! No cracking) or cream with pads lanisol others.

This is probably not the pads that cause pain ... Do your nipples to "breathe" often enough? You should try not to wear a bra as often as possible (I know it's hard with leaks and all) so your nipples will look they need.

In addition, your baby is the breast properly? They told me it was because of sore nipples, it was not locked to perfection. I've never had this problem, however.

Do you use disposable or washable?

If you can, put the cream and just air them (probably a lot easier at night). Just take a rag or towel and then burp a place under you while you sleep in case of leakage. It feels much better when they take the air.

If you have not tried the washable, that's what I used and they worked great. You can hand wash or simply throw them into the machine. They protect against leaks, are very absorbent and are less obvious under your clothes. Make sure you change them often.
