Breast Cancer Organizations

Key Club at my school will raise money to donate to breast cancer research, but I'm not sure what would be the best organization to send money. We want it to be in Illinois. please help!

Although October is awareness month for breast cancer, why limit your donations to the Breast Cancer Research? The American Cancer Society is a cause worthy of me and graciously accept your donations.

It is good to donate to a local research organization, so why not ask the town hall, library, church, etc. for local charities accepted - and choose one of these?

As a previous answer said, there are other 199 other cancers, as deserving as breast cancer, but he gets the majority of funds - so give someone else a chance!

And I am a survivor of breast cancer - wrote www.after cancer.com-and still feel that others should have a chance!
