Acrysof Iolcataract surgery - comparison with asymmetrical IOL IOL normal?

Can someone with the experience of having undergone cataract surgery to advise on the advantages and disadvantages of using one-piece Technis, asymmetric, hydrophobic AcrySof with negative aberration arguing the correcting the aberration of the cornea positive compared to normal non-IOL Asymmetric?

I did not pay attention to the type of surgery I had,
I know that Dr. sucked into the cataract through a small incision in the side of the eye and thus, he inserted the permanent lens
wow! What a difference, I did not realize how much my vision had become because I could still see well enough, but
surgery has opened a lot of doors, those with land that I absolutely did not see before

I do not understand the technical language used to describe the lens portion of your question
But if my conclusion is correct - the goal that you mention here is a multifocal lens, the answer is yes it works well.
My mother had both his eyes operated last year for a cataract with multifocal lens and now she does not wear glasses - of course she did not need a strong correction (its was 1.5 or 2 glasses for many years)
If I remember the doctor and he had used on one eye, a lens with three different focal distances (near, far and mid-range) and the second eye lens with 6 different lengths.
Instead, I have an acquaintance who is avid reader and has not been adequately communicated by his doctor and went to an ordinary (non-multifocal lens) and now requires a show in addition to aiming for reading . She is obviously extremely disappointed. Physicians should be fully informed patient requirements.
Just to add a line - if you are diabetic or need surgery safer new cold phaco machine gives very good results compared to phacoemulsion (only) the incision is very low and the recovery region is extremely fast.In Mumbai Thane / we have very little (barely 2-3) using the cold-phaco and all expenses paid by the surgery is around Rs 55.000 / -
